Properties for sale and rent in Akkar

Akkar is Lebanon's northernmost region, a governorate of its own since 2014 with Halba as its capital, bordering Syria along the Nahr el-Kabir river. It combines the fertile Akkar plain, one of the country's main farming areas, with green mountain villages such as Qoubaiyat and Bireh and some of Lebanon's largest forests. Halba is roughly 25 km from Tripoli, about 35 minutes by car along the northern coastal road.

Akkar is above all a land market: 93 of the 104 properties REVERA lists here are land plots. They are the largest in the north — typically around 5,000 m² — and the cheapest per square metre, at about $35 per m² at the median. Half of the plots are priced between $90,000 and $430,000 (median about $177,000), suited to farming, a family home or a long-term investment. Apartments and full buildings are only a handful of listings, and rentals are almost absent.

Halba and the larger towns have schools, shops, banks and clinics, while specialist hospitals and universities are in Tripoli. Prices quoted are asking prices from REVERA's live listings in October 2026.
